This information is for swapping an ATX to MTX in a PGT/MX-6 V6. It should be VERY similar. If anyone on here who has swapped has anything to add, please let me know.

aw shucks i guess ill have to convert it to a MTX and put that racing cluch kit in there. lol i was gonna do that this summer anyways.

I am looking for a manual tranny that will work in a 1994 MX-3 RS DOHC 1.6 i plan on swaping my ATX for a MTX in the near future. The condidtion dosent matter as long as i can get it rebuilt.

I would like to know if nybody has a MTX for a 1994 MX-3 RS 1.6 DOHC. I cant find one anywhere and im gettin tired of my ATX cause my takeoff sucks. It would be great I could find one in the eastern half of texas. I dont care what shape it's in as long as it can be rebuilt to racing specs.

I curently have a 94 RS DOHC and I would like to swap the 1.6 with a KLZE. Has anybody done this before, is it too much trouble, or should I just go ahead and buy a GS.
