Re: Oh my, I just made a Cold Air Intake

Well, as I see it, the only thing is that you'll need different couplers. :)

Re: Design Engineering

Under the FAQ: A: That is a tricky question for this system because of the many variables involved in the physics of the system- Base horsepower, altitude, ambient air temp, humidity, intake system, MASS airflow sensor and intercooler efficiency can all effect the performance of the system. We teste...

Re: black Altezza

GoFastR and Toms Motorsports are located at the same adress too... I found out by having some friends knock at TomsMotorsports, because they never responded to emails, to pick up black altezza's- The guy said: Pay now and I will ship in 3-4 weeks when they are back in stock. No way I wanted to give ...

Re: CAI or Cone filter?

I live in Denmark where it rains 95 percent of the time, the hydrolock has a high priority in my mind. Steps taken to minimize hydrolocking was to bolt on a 10"x10" diamond shaped mesh in extension of my splashguard. It is doing a great job deflecting water while allowing air to the filter...

Re: Damndable Dash

I have a 92 model, and every freaking time someone gets in my car for the first time I get this damn question:

"Hey, isn't this a mazda 323 dash???"

Argh, I hate the fact that they're right...bvah.

Re: Damndable Dash

Remember to take pics! I'd love to see pics during the disassembly. If it looks like mind-diarrhea, I'd just abandon that project myself :confused2:

I hate to say this, but thank God this is happening to you and not me!
Go shoot some high calibre weapons and go back and look at your engine with fresh eyes.
Hope you get your baby fixed.

Re: air filter question *newbie*

Pretty much, yes. Clamp-on filter is the name.
Go rip your stock airfilter box off and donate it to somebody, get the new clamp-on filter and attach it to your VAF. Make sure the new filter has a 77mm/3inch hole. Voilá: great sound and your throttle response is a bit better.

Re: air filter question *newbie*

That is your stock airfilter. :)
It's allright, designed to work with your car.
Is it good? Depends if you want more sound, then it's not. Ordinary use? Works great.
