Thanks for everything

Hey guys, I used to post quite a bit on here but haven't been on in a while. Tomorrow I am selling my MX-3 to a nice guy down the street from me. I got a 2002 Miata and needed something to haul stuff around so I bought an old work truck which I am happy with. I just wanted to say that it was great o...

Re: I HATE HURRICANES!

Hurricanes do suck, My cars survived though, which I feel very lucky about. But our power is still out, which means no water either. Check the date of this messasge, it's been an entire week!

Re: Missing my car

Did you get a 1st or 2nd gen RX-7? I love the late model twin turbo's, they look almost as good as a viper to me.

Re: MORE EBAY GARBAGE

As an electrical engineer I am curious how the whole "resistor" mod even started, and how it got to be so popular even though everyone (at least on here) knows that it's crap.

Re: oil pan

That may be, but you should not be having oil on the outside of the pan no matter what that patch is! BTW, NOFX kicks *** , nice name. :-)

Re: WHATS UP??WITH 0-60?

the correct launch would be as high as your tires could handle before spinning out. It would really vary depending on how much traction you can get with your tires and the road. As far as when to shift, if you really want to go as fast as possible you will need to shift at redline at every gear.

Re: window question

My driver's side door gets tough about 80% of the way up. It's been like that since I bought it (about 3 years ago). I don't think anything is stuck inside, so I just push a little harder on the handle. LOL Seems fine to me.

Re: keyless entry

Considering you can go on ebay and buy a keyless entry system for like $30 I would just do that. That is, assuming you already have power locks...

Re: transmission problems

My MX-3 does not move the stick while it's driving, however my Miata definitely does, and it's almost brand new. So I don't think it's too strange of a thing. It's definitely not normal for it to pop out of gear though....

Re: Engine drinking oil

That is a ton of oil to be lost, I can't believe that much could burn off and you couldn't see it. I would really just take it in to a mechanic and have it checked out. Your engine probably isn't a "lost cause" if it still seems to be running good. There is definitely a leak somewhere that...

Re: new seat covers?

I got some off ebay. If you do a search for Mazda seat covers you will find them. They were $60 for a set, and they have been pretty good so far for me.
