hey i need a OEM mass airflow sensor, the silver thing on top of stock intakes... mine took a crap on me heh...

need it for the 1.6L 4 cyl sohc engine

although ,if i went to a performance cold air intake, the OEM maf wont fit it, so would i have to upgrade my ecu? thats what im most curious about, since im looking at a new intake fairly soon

i figured out what it was, i gotta get the maf hooked back up, im fairly certain thats why its bogging down

ok, first off, on top of the intake box, the stock one, is a silver cap with a wire with a connector running to it, when u put a performance intake on, do u need to plug the plug back into anywhere, or does it just stay unplugged? also, i accidently took the thing the plug does plug into outta the t...

it could be, but i doubt it would keep the tranny from going on, the arm/fork lookin thingy inside the tranny case should slide/clip onto the back of the throwout bearing, it shouldnt be too hard to get on

did you make sure the clutch is properly aligned? if not itll never fit back in, also make sure the tranny is at the same angle as the engine when ur putting it back in, and that the splines on the tranny are aligned so they slide through the clutch its-self.. just put a new tranny/clutch in without...

hey, just got my mx-3 runnin tonight, nice to hear it runnin at like 9pm with no exhaust hooked up :p so happy, only took a new 5 speed, new clutch, and me messing with the wireing...the person who had it before me blew up 2 trannies, his last one he actually blew a hole in the bellhousing... dont w...

is there any other intake besides the prm one that i see all the time i can use for a bit? ill eventually buy the nice one from prm? but untill then would just a pipe/cone filter work?
if so whats the best width of pipe to use? i have a 1.6L 4cyl atm, any info would be awsome!

did mazda make a DOHC 4cyl? i found a DOHC head, how hard would it be to take the standard SOHC engine and swap it to a DOHC? if its not too bad ill prob do it.. ive got a 1.6L 4cyl atm
