temp guage sensor?

hopefully this takes...

my temperature guage is doing a downward surge when i accelerate, when i get back in to 2500 rpm or less it goes back to the middle temp reading...

i've checked my coolant level and it's topped off, also the car gets a little past the middle mark if i'm in traffic over ten ...

have someone cast/mold your present cover in clear hi-temp plastic...

i know you can get valve covers with clear plexi-inserts for some chevy small blocks...

finally figured out what it was, for some reason my wife's kia won't burn pure ethanol (the everclear on the right)
well, it's not pure ethanol i'm guessing ~80%, heh heh, i was tempted to take a sip...

fuel injector video (car won't start)

can someone please look at this video i took of the fuel rail?
(it's a small video, less than 1 megabyte (731 kb))

check your spark plug wires or replace them, these are often overlooked and can cause many suggestive symptoms, including fouled plugs...

check/clean or replace your PCV valve...

worn cap and rotor will definately give you a weak spark...


oxygen sensor almost impossible to reach on the downpipe ...

i don't believe it's broken, just rough castings from the manufacturer...

i can't believe i didn't take pictures of that piece when i was working on mine, my bad, it could be a pour or bleed port from the mold, just a guess though...

well, i've read somewhere, i can try to find it again, anyway, it stated that these days the alternators in cars pretty much run the whole electrical system and the battery is just for starting the car, when the alternators are spec'd out for the car it is done so with very little alt resources to ...

Are you sure your mechanic replaced your alternator? heh heh, If these symptoms "started in December", i have a strong feeling you have faulty electrical circuit.

Have you had your battery tested? if your battery won't hold a good charge it will overload your alt...

If your pulleys line up like ...
