Re: Car start problem.

I just retaped that sucker up and after removing the old tape noticed a HUGE crack. So i took electrical tape and rolled it into strips to fit inside the ribs. then taped all around it.. Im thinking there was WAY to much air getting in and the reason was because we just had our first few really cold...

Re: Car start problem.

Really? So theres nothing weird about how this just all the sudden happened? Like I mean car was running fine and this is all out of the blue. I can't see grounding being an issue at ALL...

Anyone else think this? Does anyone else agree it could be the gas pump? *sighs*

Re: WTB: Rear Brake Caliper

Go to the wreckers... find this crappiest lookin one and get the lowest price.. Then spend the day (it will take u the entire day) to clean it and take it apart. You will possibly need new boot, and some other parts(they are cheap, and most places have them instock. Bring in the caliper to make sure...

There is a 94 probe gt with a 2.5klze. 15k km on it. 3900.. Is this person asking too much, assuming normal wear and tear on the car and proper maintenance?

Re: Car start problem.

Well, I assume that in addition to the car turning over.... the shaking that follows indicates that there is a spark trying to ignite(or whatever the hell it does) the fuel.. just that there is not enough of it..

Also, I may be full of S***... I dont claim to be smart or anything lol.

Car start problem.

So my car is not starting, it is turning over, so battery and alternator are not the problems. The car is getting a spark then. So im guessing engine isn't getting gas. I bout gas line antifreeze because I thought the cold would have been the problem. Put it in yesterday... tried to start car 15 min...

Re: KLZE jumpy idle

Check all you vacuum lines, if they are old you will find that they are cracked, simply slice of the cracked portion and hopefully you have enough slack left to re-attach the lines. I had the EXACT same problem. Lakersfan knows what hes talkin about cause he helped me out, just look at all the hoses.
