[EBAY] 1992 MX-3 GS, KLZE engine swap, full body kit

Well, it's finally time to let my MX-3 go. The past couple of years I've barely found time to drive it. It's too lonely in the garage. I put a lot of love and money into this car, I'm hoping it will go to a home that appreciates it. Lots of work done. 2.5 KLZE swapped in in late 2004, with 20k miles...

Partially the reflection, partially the fact that the good wasn't locked down.

That's the BC2 rear with KMAX sides.

Between parts and labor it was probably close to $8k. The labor was $5k.

You can see in-progress here and throughout my blog starting here

Suspension is still stock. I'll take care of that next spring.

My car is back from the shop

I finally got my car back today. She'll be packaged up and stored for the winter soon, but the weather is clear at the moment so I may be able to get in a joyride or two before then. http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/images/journal/baby1.jpg http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/images/journal/baby2.jpg h...

Slim Window Visor?

I can't find any on eBay. Is there an online store that sells them?

My winter vehicle

Some of you have seen my thread in the appearance section. My MX-3 has been in the shop all summer for extensive body work and modification. It's almost finished, but once I get it back it will never be driven in the winter again. So over the summer I've been working on this badboy a bit, to functio...

It's taking a long time because I brought it to a one-man shop. He's been doing work like this for over 30 years. My car is the last project he's taking. He's taking his time with it. Trust me, his attention to detail is worth the wait. At this point, the car is full assembled. The hood has been tes...

They are the KMAX sides, but with a little fabrication. The ends were cut off and fiberglassed back on to achieve a flatter fit to tje insides of the wheel wells. I believe they are attached with rivets or sunken screws, and then covered. The car is all put together now, he's just doing detail work ...

I think he meant the guy that was actually fabricating one for the MX-3. Had started the fiberglass and everything, and posted pictures of it in progress.
