Your car looks sweet man, can't wait to see it painted with the carbon fibre hood and everything else you have planned.

They are the KMAX sides, but with a little fabrication.

The ends were cut off and fiberglassed back on to achieve a flatter fit to tje insides of the wheel wells.

I believe they are attached with rivets or sunken screws, and then covered.

The car is all put together now, he's just doing detail work and wetsanding to prepare it for paint.

It's taking a long time because I brought it to a one-man shop. He's been doing work like this for over 30 years.

My car is the last project he's taking. He's taking his time with it. Trust me, his attention to detail is worth the wait.

At this point, the car is full assembled. The hood has been test fitted. It's being wetsanded for the paint job. Shining Silver Metallic, a Mazda factory silver.

I'm holding off on pictures until it is absolutely finished, for the full effect ;)
