I'm looking for a passenger side fender for a 92 mx-3

try posting i in faq,you'll probably get an anwser.

The reason aftermarket parts are so expensive is because they quite making mx-3 in 94.

I would go with the new one

I think it's probably your coil or somthing in the in the ignition switch.
