Re: strut and spring problem
I had no problems with the dropzones other than a loid noise everytime i hit a bump from them unseating. Try putting a strut/coilover combo together yourself *off* your car.

Re: dropzone owners: no more clunking and lower drop!
What about finding a rubber washer or O ring that could go underneath the coilover. To cushion the coilover as it comes down again?
Protege, how does GC do their coilovers? It doesn't make sense that Dropzone would actually make their's wrong. Could it be the spring rates? That the spring is not ...

Re: dropzone owners: no more clunking and lower drop!
Ok, this is a good post. Does anyone have anything to say about this? it is basically a spring (coil-over) resting on the strut.
Marsh, have you had any problems at all since the post? What are the steps i need to take to take these pieces off? More in depth than just take stut off, and coilover....

Re: noise after coilover install?
are you having any problems marsh??? when you go over big bumps do yours make noise? I don't think it is the dropzones... even though they are cheap, could it be install. I paid some aftermarket shop to do it. They were kinda stupid about it though and tried to rush it through...
Question: Does t...

Re: noise after coilover install?
I *still* have a sound from dropzone coilovers and brand new KYB GR2's that i was told was made by the spring "unseating" when the wheel extends away from the car. I do not understand how any drop around 2" or more would work with any set up though... gc, dropzone, with out unseating....

Custom Grills...
I was just wanting to know what the cheapest/ easiest solution to this "custom grille" problem would be. I want to cover both areas under the bumper, and above it in a mesh kind of grille. Should i just buy it from a aftermarket car place or what? Thanks.
