strut and spring problem

Post by RaspMetalicMX3SE »

Ok, i bought a set of dropzone springs for the 91-96 escort which a supposed to fit our cars. i also bought Tokico "blues" that are for the MX-3. Well I dropped them off to my mechanic for him to put on and he says the springs don't fit on the struts. has anyone had this problem, and dio you think that i could have recieved the wrong springs or the wrong struts. by the way i got the struts fomr Nopi and, the springs off ebay. any comments are appreciated

I had no problems with the dropzones other than a loid noise everytime i hit a bump from them unseating. Try putting a strut/coilover combo together yourself *off* your car.
