I had a set of Silverstars too. They are brighter but I had both bulbs go out within a year. That's not acceptable to me so I'm back with the stock ones.

But how far does the MS bumper stick out compared to stock? If it sticks out farther that changes the angle so sometimes on large bumps/dips you'll still scrape even though it might be higher than stock. I've had that problem on my bumper.

I'm looking at making a custom cargo cover and am needing the hardware for it...like the mounts, ropes, etc. Mine is in decent shape so I'd rather not cut it up for this stuff. If anyone has a cover that is busted up and not usuable, please let me know what you want for the hardware. Thanks.

You could see about removing the seat cover by cutting the hog rings. When that off of the frame and foam you would have a much easier time repair the seams or replacing sections of material. Then just put it back on and attach new hog rings.

Lighter rims will also allow you to brake faster. Of course, as was mentioned...if your traction isn't there that just means you are locking up the tires.
