Motegi Trak Lites!!!

Post by sheller »

I just received my set of Trak Lites. They feel even lighter than I expected. :D I'm probably going to wait until after winter to install them but I'm just happy to have them in now.

I got black ones. I figured they'd look good with the carbon fiber hood and the cs hatch shade. :)
I paid $499 + $25 for shipping. They weight about 9.5 pounds.

They are forged aluminum instead of the cast aluminum that most of the rims are. The usual price for these rims is like $235/each...and that's for the 15" size...17's are more. I got a great deal off of ebay. I believe these were floor displays.
I'll try and get a pic tonight and post in on my cardomain page.

Rota doesn't make anything that light. Which model? All of their 15 x 6.5 stuff is in the 12 lb range.
