Re: New to Audio : What to Get/How-to Install?
I'm a Clarion guy myself. I've got a Clarion head unit, a 200.2 running the two front JL speakers, and an APX1000.2 running 2 12" PPI c2's. It's LOUD. :D I had a set of the Clarion Proaudio subs a few years back, and I couldn't kill them. I beat the crap out of them for like 2 years and then so...

Re: Well my car got brokin into Last Night
I've had my car broken into twice. 8( First time the broke in they must have gotten spooked cause nothing was gone, second time (in the same parking lot) they got my whole system. Sucks *** .

Re: Any Benefits To A Larger Size Rim & Low Profile Tire
Having a bigger tire/wheel combo is a little bit of both, actually. It's better to have less sidewall flex, and, hence, less sidewall. Also, because you typically have a larger contact patch (195/15s are stock, 205 or 215/17s have a larger footprint), your stoppong distances, acceleration times, and...

Re: suspention tech. lowering springs... what are YOUR thoug
I got em.
I don't mind them. They are fitted with stock struts, so there's a little bit of a floaty feel to them, but they're not bad.

Shouldn't there at least be some stylistic changes? Well, at least some obvious ones?

BPTs.. and where to get em 8)
I posted this already, but apparently it was the wrong forum lol.. Anyway, I know many people have done the BPT swap, but where is it that you guys get the engines from? I can't find a decent place that I'd be willing to shell out the money for. Some people don't warranty the engines (Corksport) and...

Re: why is everyone so scared?
I don't care about an 800 HP KLZE. I believe the original point of this thread was to ask why there are not a whole lot of MX-3s that are *really* engine modded. I would assume that in percentage comparison, there are *many* more.. oh, I don't know, Civics, maybe? that are fairly heavily modified. A...

Re: KL-ZE motor swaps
Ok, but that doesn't answer my question..? Does anyone know where you can swap a BPT into a 4 cyl for $2000? Even if it's in ottawa, that's cool. Just tell me where.

Re: why is everyone so scared?
While I do agree that Canada is in North America, I DON'T agree that you didn't know that the intention of that statement was to differentiate between Canada and the US. Anyway, as for being a newbie, I am not. I've been on this site for a few years anyway, I just don't post much. Either way, wouldn...

Re: why is everyone so scared?
Well, Curtklze, not all of us are BMW techs. So that means that we have questions that perhaps you can answer. I too am curious why not too many people have high hp mx-3s. You don't have to be an *** about it. Now go run along and play with your BMW buddies. *pat pat*

Re: MOTO-VAC (Where can i get this done?)
As far as I now any Canadian Tire has the machine to do it. I'm not sure if *i'd* go there to do it, but I know people who have, and the result is really good. THinking of getting it done myself, actually. ![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)

Re: how best to lower/raise car
To tell you the truth, I lowered mine with Suspention Techniques' springs, which dropped the car a total of about 1.5 inches once the springs settled. I use Tokico struts. It looks lowered, and when I put my kit on I won't have to worry (too much, anyway) about scraping and such. Lol no adjustments ...
