Cooling System problem
I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem before with their MX-3. The car is loosing coolant but not leaking any on the ground. I don't think it's leaking into the crank case because the oil looks fine. Also it is running a little bit hotter than it should and only one of the cooling fa...

Window Visor Deflectors
I need to get a pair of Black Visors for my MX-3 but I am having trouble finding anyone who sells them out here. I know there is that place on the MX-West site but they told me they wouldn't be able to order any unless they had a lot of people wanting them. Can anyone help me?
James

Re: West Coast Mazda MX-3 Meet 2002
Well, Since I'm new to the club I will definetly make a point of showing up. It will be a long drive from Calgary. I look forward to meeting everyone and making my car part of the family.

I have one question though... What's the law like in BC for Radar Detectors. In Calgary they don't car...

Re: Strict laws on modifications!!
So far, here in Calgary, they are not as strict with Modified cars. Everyone here speeds on a regular basis. There have been so many cut-backs to the enforcement that they mainly just using photo radar. I have noticed that the cops here are quite touchy when it comes to tinted windows and of course ...

KL ZE Engine Swap
I was currious about doing an engine swap on my GS. I was playing with the idea of putting a KL_ZE 2.5 engine in. I have never done anything like this before. I live in Calgary and I don't know who around here does stuff like that.
1. Where can I get this engine from?
2. About how much does it c...

Need more Preformance
I have a 1993 MX-3 GS and I really want to find a way to get more power and fuel economy. I've put in high preformance spark plugs and a K&N filter. I was thinking of designing a cold air intake system that takes air from just infront of the front wheel well. I would really like to put on a supe...

Re: Do MX-3's have governors?
Hey Pedro,
I think the air in this area is a big problem. Most of Alberta is quite high. One thing you can make sure of is getting a K&N Filter. That might help. I usually hit around 195km/h but I usually slow down because I can't afford anymore tickets.

Re: Custom intake filter
Well, I am planning on doing the same thing. I have decided to go with 3" piping. I am going to change the front bumper to a Combat Style and then using one of the intakes on the lower driver side for fresh air. There is a somewhat hollow passage just in front of the driverside wheel well. Just...

Re: Cold Engine = electrical short?
Here are a couple shots in the dark. Something you may want to check is at the bottom of your engine, the crankshaft wheel assembly. In some cases this can start to slide outwards causing metal and belts to grind making your engine work hard hindering the alternator charge. You may also want to look...

Re: Exhaust Troubles
I had a had this problem repaired, not on my precidia but on my CRX for about $50.00. They stuck a coupler in so that it could flex a bit from the engine torque and not wreck it.
