Re: The "Quick Question" Thread (please search first)
yeah ryan its the cable that goes to the top of the throttle thing where the throttle cable hooks into on top of the IM. When i took my atx out i ended up snipping the cable since i don't need it for mtx but i was also unsure of how to get the cable out.

Re: The "Quick Question" Thread (please search first)
so part of my wheel bearing was pretty much fused to the brake rotor. i can see the ball bearing race sitting in my hub. When i took the rotor off i found a 3 foot pry bar and wedged it between the knuckle and the rotor and beat on the back of the rotor with a hammer while prying.

Re: Burgess's 94 mx3 rs
Here's a few pics of the 94 protege i took the transmission out off. payed nothing for it, got it from a friends uncle. safety ran out on it in 2008 and wasnt driven since. I jumped it when i got home and it started right up on the second turn over! The stuff on the side is brake fluid, a hose was b...

Got the transmission and everything i need out today. pretty happy because tomorrow is my 19th birthday and i really didnt want to get it out tomorrow. i decided to just change the tranny instead of the motor because the motor in the car is just a B8. Im swap...

Re: Help with passenger side CV Axle!!!
the support bracket is the only thing holding it there besides the clip in the transmission. Chances are you will lose some fluid when you pull your axel out but not very much at all. like wytbishop said its a lot better than being under the car where you have next to no room to swing a hammer or so...

Re: Help with passenger side CV Axle!!!
it takes a lot of force. My friend beat on mine for 2 and a half hours or more absolutely non stop with all his strength. We were just about to give up literally if the next few whacks didnt work. try a impact gun with a steel rod in it.
