[WTB] F series 5th gear
Looking for a 5th gear to replace my current stock. It blew apart last week. Don't care if it's a different ratio, just looking to have a fifth gear again.

Re: Driver's side axel replacement Question 92 RS
Ha. Much easier getting the axel outta the hub. Not much room to angle too many things to get the shaft out of the tranny. Best to rent an axel pulling I'm guess?
I took the battery out to try from the top, no dice there either.

Driver's side axle replacement Question 92 RS
92' MX-3 RS (20 Years old in December!) 5Spd 149,000m. Trying to replace the driver's side axle. What's the best way to go about this? I've read the shop manual and alldata. They're the same.. Remove Tie Rod / Lower Ball Joint / stabilizer links. I'm having some trouble with the stabilizer link nuts...

Re: [WTB] power window switch and passenger side mirror
I can sell you both Driver and Passenger if you're still looking for em. $20 plus 12 for s&h. But they're painted orange, and would have to be repainted.... Your post is a bit ambiguous. If you have the Driver's Power Window switch for sale that's painted I'd be interested assuming that OP no l...

Re: 1.6 wont idle
When you disconnected the air meter, did you remove the screws and pull before realizing your mistake? I'd check those pin outs for proper resistance.

Re: 92 RS Code 9 Help
Yeah I was looking to move it. It seems that I'll just have to replace the intake header there. Or at least remove it to get that plug out. The top of the sensor broke off... there's nothing to grip. It's a 19MM. I think the sender unit is a 17MM. Wont be able to do that anytime soon. I guess I can ...

Re: 92 RS Code 9 Help
The new thermal sensor broke off inside the intake manifold. I cannot move it at all right now. Don't have the time. I was looking at just moving the sensor to the temp sender place next to the disty, but it's a different size.

Re: 92 RS Code 9 Help
At this point, I would settle for some tips on how to get the car to start when it's hot.
Right now, it'll start fine when hot, but if it dies while struggling to idle, it wont start until it's cold. It'll just crank and crank.
Very annoying.
Thoughts?

Re: Occasionally doesn't accelerate for a few seconds. Scary
My car does this to sometimes. Mostly in colder weather. In my case it's because of the ECU attempting to correct the idle when it cannot sense the temp of the engine due to the bad CTS. It literally won't let you rev up the engine until it 'decides' it's done adjusting. Sometimes this happens right...

92 RS Code 9 Help
A few months ago I purchased an 92 MTX MX3. The owner had bought the car from another guy with a few problems. Right before I bought it I checked around ( I love when people use the same usernames on dozens of sites ) and found his post here: View Topic I've searched a bit and found several others w...
