Currently I am in the process of fixing the Projectors too. I am fixing it with out the HID conversion. I had the same problem. I had to take the wires out of the sockets and manually connect them to work properly. (The stock socket didn't fit the after market socket so I had to take it off anyway) ...

Can you please help me to locate the oil pressure switch/sensor on a Mx3 1.8 V6 manual. I did try going through all the relevent posts but had no luck.

I am thinking of looking in to oil preassure sensor before replacing the pump or may be the motor with KLZE as RX8SE3P suggested
