Replacing Left front engine mount + control Arm bush

Post by lokuayya »

Hi

I took my Eunos 30x (Mx-3) to the mecchanic the other day to get a Road Worthy Certificate. And later that day he got back to me saying I have to replace front left Engine mount and the control arm bush, and gave me a quotation of AU$ 550.00 :(

I checked them and they are cracked ... :(

I found some replacement mounts on Ebay for a reasonable price ( below $100 posted)

Have any of you guyz done this before ?? ( front Left engine mont and the Control arm bush. ??? Any advice will be highly apriciated
Thanks guyz.

Your mechanic is soaking you. what is a left front mount? is it the left, or the front? there are only 4, front, rear, driver's side, and passenger's side.

post a WTB, someone has a mount I'm sure. It'll be less than $50 for sure.

the control arm bushings should be quite cheap from a autoparts store, its just a bushing.
