Nuff said haha, I've been to that car wash so many times. I've seen a few exotic crashes galleries online but would have never imagined someone I know would be in it.

Re: List of wheel weights
Just want to update this thread, I now made the list of wheel weights sortable to make it twice as convenient. You can now sort it by weight, brand, size, and manufacturing method.

Re: List of wheel weights
Alright, I added them in, only 3 wheels really because it seems like they just do double listings of the chrome polished wheels even though they are the same thing. Btw, the video on their page in the about section is really neat. I had no idea how they do spin forging and manufacture wheels until I...

Re: List of wheel weights
Excellent, I will add them in as soon as I get a chance. Or you can add them in if you want as well, especially pictures. Actually, I need your opinion. How do you think pictures should be organized on there if I start to include them? If I make every wheel on there a link, nobody will visit them an...

Re: List of wheel weights
Got any ideas on where we can find the weights? I'd be glad to add them in.

Re: List of wheel weights
Thanks for the heads up, I changed it to "Centerline Impulse / Storm". I believe the only occurrence is in the 17" wheels section.

Re: Chassis Stiffening: Ideas, Facts, Opinions - 4Future Project
This is a very interesting topic, anyone care to help me create an article about it on mechdb.com? There's so much to digest. One thing I wanted to note though, you do not want full bead everywhere. If you look up unibody welding guides and etc online, you'll see that when it comes to welding a unib...

Re: alignment
I did a pretty aggressive toe out on my Escort once just to try it out and this is what my tires looked like after 1500 miles! They were new haha! http://mechdb.com/images/e/eb/Escort_wreckak_28.jpg I did the alignment pretty simple, though please don't flame me if it's a bit newbish. Since I figure...

Re: Broken rota rims gallery
They're made in the Philippines. They are what they are, less expensive copies of wheels. And I guess they're not bad for light use but they definitely don't stand up to the same harshness as real forged rims. They mostly use casting and on top of that they try to make lightweight rims, that's a sca...

List of wheel weights
Wheel weights - Mechanical Database I got it off of wheelweights.net but then I cleaned it up a lot and improved accessibility because the original was in a not so user friendly pdf file. I'm also working on adding all the wheel bolt patterns on my site. I see there are already some lightweight whe...

Broken rota rims gallery
I compiled a pretty nice gallery of broken rota rims, though I plan to add the stories behind them on there pretty soon too. What's pretty humorous is my friend steeb38 (he's on here somewhere) found a photoshopped image on Rota's website! They photoshopped a lotus and a porsche into their factory i...
