I really need some help and am pulling my hair out for a fix. I have a stock 93 K8 limited edition MX-3. I recently starting noticing that she would not get passed 75mph. Now its to the point of 60mph. I can throw it in any gear and she will not budge. Just stay at 60mph. From 45MPH to 60mph a mac ...

Re: low Car Idle
I have had this problem before. It could be a number of things. It could be the distributor. God only knows how many of us have had a problem with that. It could be your spark plugs or your wire set or it could be your throttle plate. I had that problem once I replaced my distributor and I could not ...

Thanks for the invite Esper. I just might take you up on that. I have no mods though. Its all factory. A.S I saw those. Are they any good. I never heard of that brand. My father in law says there alright. He said they make Trannys and engine parts. Let me know what luck you have and thanks.

Re: EGR Valve, Distributor, ISC controller- Somethings Wrong
This could be a couple things. It could be any of those things. It could also be faulty spark plugs or wires. When was the last time you had a tune up. It could be your distributor or your rotor. This is going to be hard to diagnose. Try this first. Remove your btn fuse from the control box under ...

Re: Idle speed help
There are a couple ways to adjust the timing. The best but biggest pain in the a-- way is to use a timing light. The only thing is that its not easy to get to. The power steering pipe is in the way and its stiff. Also you have to remember to jumper the 10 and the ground pin. A word to the wise. Make ...

Re: Idle speed help
I did some research on this issue and I think I got a fix. I just needed to reset my computer. Don't ask me why. I reset it and started my car and it imediatly went to 2000 rpms. I adjusted it and my timing again and it fixed. Try reseting the ecu and see what happens.
I live in Gainsville, FL.

If i am running down the road and I put it in nuetral the rpms go to about 1,300. I can tap the gas and that seems to lower back ...
