I've done most of this I am still in the process, but it has not totally broke the bank to do it. I am currently running 9PSI no problems, with a VJ-14 Hybrid. autometer's directions said I should grab the wire before it comes inside the car so my choices are basically two black wires or a blue wire with a red stripe. I don't know either.

I have the mechanical gauge and the instructions said I should hook it up past the O2 sensor where there are 3 wires, is the 2N wire somewhere else or am I looking in the wrong spot.

No I don't think so, it would look nicer if you put it back in the cone, but then again mine his filtered with a sock and a tie-tie. What ever works just don't clog it.

If you decide to leave it alone, a good thing would be to put some type of filter on it because you still want filtered air going into your engine.

Ya I did it with carpet, but if I was to do it again I would choose a vinyl material and would do a custom box facing the reverse of how I have it now.

Also since this is not my daily driver, I can accord to leave it in the garage, and all I did was take it out for a spin to see how bad it would run right off the bat.
