I REALLY NEED SOME HELP YOU EXPERTS!

Okay okay, what i've done is take the top part of the stock airbox off and thrown on a ractive heat shield cone (sounds AMAZING!).. there was a little hose attached to the side of the stock airbox which is kinda just there now..!?! what is this hose.. what do i do with it?? please help !!! =]<P>all help will be greatly appreciated!!

i believe it's the source for the egr solenoid valve(vacuum). some people have tapped a hole into the intake and plugged it in, and some people have just left it with out any problems...
Fast imports only come on two wheels.

If you decide to leave it alone, a good thing would be to put some type of filter on it because you still want filtered air going into your engine.

thanks for the quick response boys..<P>does it matter which route i GO?? filter it or try to jack it back into the intake somewhere?

No I don't think so, it would look nicer if you put it back in the cone, but then again mine his filtered with a sock and a tie-tie. What ever works just don't clog it.

I think the tubing you are refering to goes to the resonance chamber(look into the workshop manual page F1-102). I'm not sure but I believe this component is used to reduce engine noise.

Yeah, i'm not sure, i got a little air breather just for that hose, but ever since i've swapped my air filter for the cone I seem to be having some strange breathing problems.. like i'd be driving and it seems to hesitate sometimes.. not sure what the heck is wrong...<P>any ideas anyone??<P>Tawheed
