Re: B6DE tuning tips

it's only 25% more over the original power, so 146Hp is the most I can put in it without having to get a custom registration for the car (expensive), of course nobody can look at an engine and tell if it have 140 or 160hp :) we properly have some 323 GTX, but without the name I cant find it in the s...

Re: B6DE tuning tips

Okay will google it, but it would be impossible to find it here in denmark, then I would have to get it shiped from somewhere and that would be too expensive
the only BP's i can find here is from a mazda 323F BG1 with a 128hp engine, and an automatic bp with 140hp (without cat ?)

Re: B6DE tuning tips

Okay sounds easy :), so would it be possible to get 150Hp with the BP without turbo ?, like putting in new cams, higher compression pistons ?

Re: B6DE tuning tips

I don't want to swap in a BP because I can't find one with OBDII, and here in denmark we use different names for the cars, I can only find the OBDI engines from 1988-1993 from a Mazda 323 BG1, not any newer :| and it would be too expensive to have one shipped from the US, but I can find plenty of B6...

B6DE tuning tips

Anyone have any experience with tuning the B6De engine, I don't want to swap a BP in my car, so im thinking about buying a used b6de and put some performance stuff inside it :) the law here in denmark only allows a 25% power increase, and thats about 146Hp, so would it be possible to give it around ...

Maybe you have air in your brakes, then the pedal will feel spongy, or there could be grease on your brakes

Re: sticky reverse

Okay then I will live with it, the car is still under warranty, but if it's normal then I don't want to send it to the shop =)

sticky reverse

Hi, im having a little bit of trouble with my car, when I start it and want to put it into reverse it sometimes takes a lot of force, but if I let go of the clutch a little bit then it drops right in... so any ideas of what's wrong ?

oh it's a MX 3 1.6 (b6d) 1997, with the stock clutch

Re: Silver Box

isn't the parking brake manual like on any other car ?, I don't see why unplugging something electronic would change the way a cable handbrake operates.

Re: Battery is Draining while car is off

If you have a voltmeter, you could measure the current draw on the car, just put the meter inline with the Negative wire, and measure the amp it's using.

Re: B6de->BP swap

Well some people makes it sound more complicated than it really is, and if it's as simple as you makes it sound, it shouldn't be any problem :)
So when I get some money I will buy the 89 BP engine I found, Thanks
