hey i got a similar problem but i dont know for sure its my cv axle.. well for me as i drive along between shifts, inital acceleration, and coasting then accelerate a clicking noise is heard around the driver side (driving straight)... this never happend to me. like you know if the cv axle is bad if...

i took a look at it today.. the noise was coming from the passenger side.. swear it wasnt a hub/spindle/wheel bearing assembly.. got another opinion from my dad and he said it was coming from the mid drive axle bearing or called a joint drive axle... hmmm i hope those things arent pricey aftermarket...
