Re: HELP!! No Reverse after fitting KLZE engine

Yes, he used his own.

All he did was drop in the engine and gearbox out of my old MX-3 ZE.

His gearbox was working fine before the swap and so was mine.

HELP!! No Reverse after fitting KLZE engine

Just fitted a KLZE engine and gearbox that was out of another MX-3. It was working fine in the other car. Then the engine and gearbox was taken out, then the engine gearbox and clutch were seperated to be sold seperately. I bought them all, re-assembled and put them in my MX-3. But now I have no rev...

Re: UK Member - Lots of performance parts for sale to UK onl

Its only because i've never done it before and don't know whats inloved and would worry about comebacks if anything got damaged. Even in the UK I ask people to arrange their own courier for large items because there is just no way of guaranteeing that they won't get damaged. I guess small stuff woul...

Re: Need advice on tricky engine removal

It was just a thought as I have a bodykit going on and new radiator going in anyway. Its already got a KLZE in there by the way (done several ze swaps), I'm taking it out so I can re-paint some bits the same colour as my new paint colour (spraying the car you see) and so I can spray the engine bay. ...

Re: Can I remove Crossmember without causing alignment issue

This has nothing to do with the engine coming out, i'm sending all the suspension bits off to get powder coated and I wanted to send this aswell. Its already got a KLZE in there anyway, but I'm removing that so that I can re-paint some bits on it to match the new colour i'm spraying the car and so I...

Re: Can I remove Crossmember without causing alignment issue

were talking about different parts here.... Your talking about the one that runs from front to back, with the two engine mounts on it. (when you said that you bought a car without one on it) I'm talking about the one that runs across the car, the one that the anti roll bar fastens to in the middle. ...

Re: Need advice on tricky engine removal

No can do the garage roof is too low to lift over the bonnet.
Done 3 KLZE engine swaps, and usually hoist out the top but this one is tricky.

Just want to know what will remove from the front, and If I can fit the engine out that way?

I can lift it a bit but not much at all....

I've the car on medium sized axel stands in my home garage, with all the front suspension components already removed and sent off to be blasted and painted. Can I remove Crossmember without causing alignment issues?

Can I remove front Crossmember without causing alignment issues?

I know on some cars you need alignment pins for when you bolt it back up.

Don't want to mess anything up.

Also can I remove all the rear crossmember and suspension components without causing any problems?
