To check ur remote wire, just jumpa wire from the +12V on the amp to the rem on the amp, if the problem is still there then buy a new amp, jenson isnt great stuff, and is probably not built to drive a 1000W sub.

Yes you need to change the wires on the 3 pin plug, but i dont know which 2, and i couldnt get a straight answer from anyone so i bought the proper disty instead. Good luck

That disty is missing the cam position sensor, KF34, so it takes a couple of seconds to start cuz the ecu is looking for it and cant find it. Not sure about the mod part, but i had the 3-4sec starting issue until this week, I finally broke down(me not the car) and bought the TOT57171 disty which fixed the problem, urs is the TOT57271 which is the one i used to have.

Bringing this back to life, broke down and spent the 500 bucks and got the right disty for my car, starts right up, cel is gone, and seems to have more pep. We'll see how the milage goes
