This is fun

So this is my current project I started today.

Mazda G5M-R transmission in pieces.

This was the magnetic pickup from the bottom of the case.

Differential side spider gears all stripped. the other 2 that are splined to the axles were in the bottom of the case. So that would be why the car did not move.lol The LSD will clear that problem.

Gearsets awaiting new brass syncro's and Mazda 323 3rd gear.

The inside of the case.

I'm running a Custom made Phantom Grip with welded diff pin I bought from Slammed6. I am using the mx3 5th gear.I'm a go fast person so I want the short geared.

Its not the tranny from my mx3. The one from the mx3 is fine. This is from my brothers probe that he kicks the sh!t out of. i'm just using it for the rebuild and then my stock one I will keep as a spare incase I really screw this up.

WOW! Seeing all those pieces makes me feel overwhelmed... or just plain inexperienced. I Have a long road ahead of me to becoming a veteran around here. I'll also have to accumilate some more time to do this stuff in. Good luck with all that, hope it works out.
