The Drift KIT - Some Assembly Required

Post by Chasing_Size »

So

I just got finished dremmeling for 5 hours and my lungs feel like i've inhaled about a lb worth of endo smoke.... Thus

The drift kit is the most poorly made mould i've ever seen, like, im talking, I took so much off the f---ing skirt for it to fit... It was rediculous...

ANYHOW, Buyer be warned that the drivers side lines up pretty well, the passenger side however does not at all, requires alot of dremmeling...

Just a question to anyone that has fitted the drift kit on, Did you mount it to the body with screws? or what? What's the easiest way?

I haven't started mounting the front bumper yet, I'd like feedback from anyone who has...

My car goes in for paint this wed... So All of you will have a drift kit to look at... fully painted

Corvette red w/ gunmetal rims / tails and a CF invader hood

Wish me luck

Pakfeifer has a good amount of kits, and their based in Toronto, so it workes out well. I got my MazdaSpeed bumper and rear spoiler from them

Update:

Car has been lowered with suspension technique springs and tockico blues, bumper has been fitted, side skirts have been fitted, much glass had to be added for strength and fitment, paint should happen by this wed

pics will be up thursday.

I'm still very disappointed in the fitment of this bumper and skirts, way to much work was involved to get them to fit :( If my uncle didn't own a bodyshop, this woulda been expensive
