i did the same on my sohc 92 but i didn't do the work it cost me 975cdn but that is a new WPump , TBelt all new valves and guides all gaskets Felpro. Fuel injectors cleaned and also setting the cam gear back to spec because somebody had advanced it one tooth and my mechanic said that was part of the problem.

I got mine done for around 120 dlls over here in mexico...WOW nice job.. At first when u start it it taps like crap because the oil hast filled the lifters i guess..anywho after having it on for a few minutes the tapping went away forever. I love the pussing sound this engine has hehe and wiw the power it had compared to before..nice nice :) to bad its my mothers car heeh but still I like this engine..noticing it was a good engine because well the new cars have them with the fdifference that they are coil pack instead of disty. :)

its just moisture. i have the same problem but then again rite now i have no cat. now if the car is at opperating temp and its doing it then you have a problem. just wait for it to warm up a little let it run at an idle for a minute or so and you should be good to go.

Hey guys;

I've messing with the idea of giving my BP head a refresher. Was wondering if there were any good engine shops that have good prices for head jobs?

or how much money I should be looking at spending? and what should I replace while the head is off?
