Buying a wicked mx3 or not?

Post by Guest »

Hello

I have managed to track down a 93 mx-3 v6 special edition. It has only 117.000km and runs well..Car fax check out good and mechanical inspection is very good, compression is between 175 and 178 on all 6 cylinders. I negotiated it down to $5500 cdn. Is this good? Interior exterior is immac.

Marvellous!! Also its a 5 speed manual transmission. Are u sure its a good deal? Are these cars any good? The other choice I have is a sunfire gt which looks very similar to the mx-3. But its a 4 cyl but feels peppy. Which is a better choice?

One of my friend seeks a Mx-3 with a 4 bangers in it, as I proove what my car can do, and his (a Sunfire 1995) can't.. The V6 is peppy, pretty good, and got a suspension bar as default.

You'll have a blast!

And, well, if you want more power after that.. now we know what you can drop in to feel your need.. ;)

MX-3 is 1000 times better than a sunfire. the GM 2.2L 4 cylinder is one of the worst engines ever made, they always break down, the breaks are crap, they have problems with the rear breakes alot, the water pumps go on them ,the A/C system breaks down alot, , the shifter is sloppy, the engine is noisy and harsh, the seats fabric and side bolsters wear out quickly, the fuel pumps fail and the cars dont hold their value,.

The GT has a 2.3 L 4 cyl which is better than the 2.2, its got good power, but the rest of the cars problems are sill present.
