Re: mx3_ryder's 93 GS ZE
Almost ready to hit the road!! Just waiting for front fender liners to come in this week hopefully and then its reg. & inspection.
Been over a year since I last drove it, so it's time to get back behind the wheel of this revamped beauty.

Re: mx3_ryder's 93 GS ZE
Great news everyone... Keeping the blue beauty!! Phew that was close!!
With all the work and effort I've personally put into this car myself since ownership from engine
(2 K8's and 1 ZE later) and getting the body back to it's original state of beauty and restoring the 21 year old's ride quality,
I was really dreading letting it go.
Updates and photos coming this spring!!

Re: mx3_ryder's 93 GS ZE
Thought I would share some pics I came across from the day I picked up the mx.
Drove 10 hours round trip to pick up the blue beauty to be.
Blown K8, flat tires, crappy ebay coilovers with broken springs and blown shocks, bumper hanging off. What I saw though was a rust and rot free shell with a super clean interior... With that I couldn't go wrong for $600.00.

Car looks really familiar. Nice score. FYI CRX front indicators are supposed to fit in the slots for front bumper instead of the MX-3 indicators

Wow, I'm glad you changed it, that thing was pretty gross when you picked it up, besides the color that is.

Hard to believe it's the same car, but the Husson college parking pass on the pass side windshield sort of gives it away... lol

Re: mx3_ryder's 93 GS ZE
Under the valve cover of my ZE the day it came off the truck in Aug. of 2011.
With only a 30 day warranty, I had it running and compression tested (220 psi across) the day after receiving it.
I'd consider myself one of the lucky ones.
Unbolted the master cylinder to clear the straight neck to make sure all was well before swapping IM's

Thanks!! I fabbed it up last Saturday at work. Had forgotten to add a 2" inch deep counter bore to slip over the diameter of the shifter so it would sit lower.WhiteFinish wrote:Thats a cool knob !
For a set of euro vents I'll make you one...
