I'm liking these wheels and can't decide. Either MB motoring or Drag DR31s

Re: Which wheels for my mx3
I'd go with the 789s, assuming weight isn't a factor.
For me, I'd go with whichever set weighs less.

Re: Which wheels for my mx3
The 789s look pretty much the same as the cheap wheels around here. Seems like everyone has 'em, and you know they're the cheapest. I think the ones around here are Vision, but I just don't like 7 spokes anymore.

Re: Which wheels for my mx3
I chose 17x8 because it was the only size that was the same.mitmaks wrote:I would think they weigh the same...
MB Motoring WEAPON 17x8 - 20.0 lbs / 9.1 kg http://www.measurespeed.com/mbmotoring- ... weight.php
Drag DR-31's 17x8 - 21.00 lbs / 9.52 kg http://www.dragwheels.com/product.asp?ID=128
oh, i searched 789 and didn't come up with much and found that they're called the weapons on the actual site http://wheelsbymbmotoring.com/product.php?wheel=Weapon
789 seems to be for the center caps http://www.centercapsdirect.com/BC-789- ... _4590.html

Re: Which wheels for my mx3
Those are heavy as hell.... WTF?! my 17x7 TSW VX1's weigh 22lbs and they are freaking HUGE
IMO I would go with the DR31's, 6/7 spokes are so overplayed these days
I would go with a 16x7 or 16x8 if they got them in that size

Re: Which wheels for my mx3
I don't like universal lug patterns so I would go with the MB for that reason alone... I also think the thicker spokes would look better too.
