Sometimes my idle bounces up and down, really wierd.

Other times the idle is perfect. I adjusted the timing, tps and idle screw not that long ago.
My cooling liquid is filled up nicely and the TB has been cleaned about 1000 km ago.
Any idea's?
What kind of switch is this??JM1EC-V6 wrote:Disconnect the idle P/S pressure switch
Would I have these kinds of problems all the time of there is a vacuumleak?mitmaks wrote:vacuum leak
No I've tried that.ninjajim4 wrote:i'm pretty sure the solution would be to FIX the problem, not go cutting stuff on your harness...![]()
if it does this only occasionally, does it go away if you give the accelerator a quick, sharp rev? it could be a sticky throttle body return lever. in which case it gets stuck slightly open, your engine is revving higher, and your ecu is trying to bring it back to where it's supposed to be. hence bouncing. should also make sure you have a little slack on your throttle cable for the same reason
