Post by onlytrueromeo »

Ordering a set today!

THERE IS ONLY 1 SET LEFT AS OF RIGHT NOW, EMAIL THE OWNER TO VERIFY IF THEY ARE STILL IN STOCK! He also said that anyone who orders after that point will be given a refund!

I emailed to make sure they were in stock - the owner (Chris) said they were. Didn't ask how many sets there were. Hopefully they'll fit good! He said about a week for US customers, and 4 days for Canooks.

Good find! I've had a set on for about a year, and they still seem new. I just had them off last night.

Hello,

Yep we'll have 15 more sets coming in 3-4 weeks. We'll also have the
shifter linkage bushings at that time too (the ones that mount under
the shifter & at the other end of the shifter rod, next to the
stabilizer rod bushing). Those are NY4 on our website. We will have
15 sets of those coming in as well. Thanks!

Nope, this is for the stabilizer bar - the bar that connects shifter to the upper part of the tranny that DOES NOT move. It is not for the rod that actually shifts gears. For those I would recommend bronze oil bushings from corksport. They will come with 4 in the pack - 2 for the shifter end and 2 for the end that connects to the tranny.

are those the same as the SRD bushing wich where always sold at corksport?

what do these do?

i recently installed that SRD bushing with the bronze oil bushings but found shifting a lot harder ( plus it feels like the shifter has play up and down)

did you install bronzoil bushings at where the linkage meets the tranny as well or just under the shifter?

when you say play up and down I assume when the shifter is in neutral you can move it up and down from say 1 to 2 with some play correct?

or do you mean up and down like in and out of the socket for the shifter?

it feels like it moves up and down ( like you mention in and out) but i am sure the big rubber thing around the shifter isnt ripped or that the bracket is loose

replaced the stock shifter with a pacesetter shifter, placed the bronze oil bushings in front and in the shifter itself and placed that SRD bushing at the end of the stabilisation rod for the shifter rod

when driving and expecially when the car is at temperature i sometimes have trouble getting it in other gears ( expecially from 3rd to 4th) i have the feeling something is heating up under there and expanding making shifting a bit harder
