i got pics...i'll post when i get time on my facebook
it was a good CSCS event....but MOM had no business being a part of it.
as i suspected, we were completely overshadowed by the larger event....people showed up, talked 'bout our cars for a bit...then took off to see the racing.
that's just fine for CSCS...but pulls the focus away from OUR cars.
if the organizers could have swung it so that we got a discount to race the 1/4 or circuit, etc....THEN it may have been better because more ppl would have raced...and everyone watching CSCS races would see Mazdas all over the place.
THAT would bring the focus back onto MOM as it should b.
I hope in the future, the Meet of the Mazdas stays just that....and doesn't piggyback onto another event. if ppl wanted to see the drag racing and circuit, or even bring their car on the track (for the regular price i might add), then they can go as a seperate event.

I liked it. Enjoyed watching some mx3's on drag strip. Liked watching the road course also. And the many fancy cars, both mazda and others, like the rs2000 escort!
As mentioned, to bad mazda's didn't get free/discounted racing. That would have been great.
To improve the mazda portion, perhaps they could of had more of corporate mazda presence. Like showing demonstrating the latest vehicles, gift bags for all mazdas, and moving the judging portion to a earlier time. And of course discounted/free racing for all mazda's. We all want a pat on the back for driving our mazda's.
I was tired from the sun and looked at everything 10 times, so I left at 6.
Who got the trophies?
I have some photos here, you may have to hunt around:
