Miata Intake manifold

Post by Campbell* »

Iv searched and have had no luck with finding if it works. Im wondering if a 1.6 Miata intake manifold will work on a b6t head. If you could help me out that would be great.
thanks

i dont know about the miata intake manifold, but i do know that you can use the head from the dohc b6 and its side mounted intake manifold.

It needs to be modified to fit as the throttle body sits almost on the pass side shock tower. See my cardomain site pics to see what it takes to make it work.

Your best bet is the DOHC MX-3 cyl head with the matching intake manifold. That head is supposed to flow better than the B6T head anyway.

to my understanding the intake manifold will fit on the dohc 1.6l ....but the throttle body will be on the other side of the engine.
