when im at a stop and start going again i have to rev up to over 3 rpms otherwise the whole front end of the car vibrates. theres no broken mounts or anything, at least im pretty sure there isnt.

Sounds like your problems could be coming from an uneven clutch, pressure plate or flywheel. Does it make any squeeling sounds?

Exactly, clutch chatter is exactly what it sounds like to me, hard to diagnose without seeing it. But that would be my hypothesis.

Mine is starting to do the same thing... its not consistant though, very aggrivating when it happens though.

Where on the peddle should the clutch start to enguage... as I let the peddle out the clutch doesnt start to grab till the peddle is almost all the way out, I don't remember it being this bad, and someone told me that when a clutch is starting to wear down it grabs later and later

sounds understandable, i mean sometimes its hard to get it into first and reverse, sometimes i have to let off the clutch and push it in again to get it to shift.

I have that problem too....

JK lol

Yeah but that sounds like the same problem I had with my nissan 240sx before. What I did was change the master and slave clutch cylinder and everything seemed fine. Than all of a sudden the problem came back up out of nowhere and got worse. I couldn't change gears without speed shifting. I pull my tranny out and find a couple springs popped out of my pressure plate and one from my clutch disk. Changed the clutch and neverhad a problem since. I was like WTF mate. Well hope that helps you guys out.

When my master went on my old 4runner, the pedal would actually stick to the floor sometimes. So if this ever happens to you, it's prolly your master.
