Woah ... let's take it down a notch. Like Pat said, it's funny to see the different names and labels members come up with that are different from the normal MX's - RS and GS. When someone labels a post saying "EL PASOS FINEST GSR GIS 'ER" the first thing that cames to mind is - ooops, he forgot the caps lock, second - what the hell is a GSR GIS 'ER????. Mazda never made one of those .... perhaps he's in the wrong Bulletin Board and thought he was logged into a H*nda BB. And when someone asks, what the heck kind of Mazda can this be and why would anyone ever what to call it other than what it is (a GS or RS), you come back with a vengance. What would you expect to see from calling an MX other than what it really is. Don't forget we all own MX's too, and some may take exception to bastardizing what is already a great car name - MX3. Why would anyone what to call it anything else, because it isn't. There was no malice intended by anyone and if your unable to take a little friendly ribbing by fellow members than perhaps that's something you may have to look towards yourself at. The closest I stray from it's original name is GS-ZE which I'm sure almost every member can readily interpret, understand and accept. You must know that there is no such thing as a Mazda GSR - Mazda never made one (none that I know of). You must admit, GSR GIS 'ER is really way out there.PWRD_BY_HKS wrote:Look mann i dont know why you are hatin on me that it completly foul of all th mx -3 drivers and if you dont know what a gsr mx-3 is just sell it moron!!! and yes there are some mx-3s here this is not hick ville retard. dont worry -hec ill let you know whats up hey mann by the way give me a call bro i lost your number

First of all, the Probe tranny uses the same 4.38:1 gear ratio, so there will be no difference in RPM's. Secondly, how are you getting 13 seconds, especially with the K8 IM? If that's all motor, I have a hard time believing that, especially with the K8 IM. I guess part of me is jealous cause I can't even get intot he 14's, but 13's usually take massive modifications to squeeze every ounce of HP out of an N/A motor, the the K8 IM is apparently very restrictice to a 2.5L.IN CASE YOU DONT REMEBER ME THIS IS RUDY FROM EL PASO DISTRICT WITH THE 13 SECOND MX -3 AS YOU MIGHT REMEBER I BLEW MY MOTOR A WHILE BACK I FINALLY SAVED UP SOME FLOW AND I THINK I WILL ONCE AGAIN BE EL PASOS FASTEST AND FINEST GSR...... MY SWAP WILL INCLUDE A ZE MOTOR OF COURSE, A FORD PROBE TRANNY ... (ITS ONLY LIKE A 200 RPM DIFFERENCE FROM STOCK SO DONT EXPECT TO MUCH FROM THAT), FUEL PUMP, LAST TIME I RAN MY ZE I HAD A K8 MANIFOLD BECAUSE STRAIGH NECK DID NOT FIT THIS TIME I GOT A CURVE NECK ZE....... SO IM BACK BETTER THAN EVER ILL KEEP YOU POSTED .... EYYY O WHAT UP HEC I TOLD YOU ID GET IT DONE AGAIN ...... HEC IS A WITNESS TO MY MONSTER IM OUT
That's exactly what I though when I read thatjschrauwen wrote:When someone labels a post saying "EL PASOS FINEST GSR GIS 'ER" the first thing that cames to mind is - ooops, he forgot the caps lock, second - what the hell is a GSR GIS 'ER????. .
It seems like you don't see it as much from a few years ago; GSR, RSR and RSR-T we're farily commonly used. I call mine a GSR from those days. You can call it a honda-wanna be if you want. But comparitively, the Integra has a an RS and GS, just like the Mx-3, but the GSR, as well as other things, has an upgraded motor. Perspectively it kinda makes sence to call it a GSR, but that's a personal choise. But as well, calling ourselves Gis'ers would be wrong, since we're not officially GSR'sjschrauwen wrote:Why would anyone what to call it anything else, because it isn't. What RPM's was he hitting? I've hit 7500-8000 in my stock KLDE and never had a problem. I'd upgrade to DE keepers since those ZE ones seem to suck.hgallegos915 wrote:rudy this time dont over rev it..these engines are prone to valve float and when I opened your old ze, piston number six had a HUGE hole in it and the rings where broken in most pistins.. ine head was destroyed and the other one was stuck in the block. My engine was pretty much pegged at 7500 RPM the whole time I took mine to the autocross course. I used to bounce my K8 off the rev limiter all the time too.rebel2k4 wrote: What RPM's was he hitting? I think what the "GIS 'ER" was supposed to mean was "gixer," as in the suzuki crotch rockets.
Why he thinks this car is said fast, Im not so sure.
