I sent him a PM so hopefully he'll check it when he gets a chance. Goodluck, and if I think of anything else, I'll keep you posted. I'm at a loss with this one. I haven't come across this problem and the only sollution I can recommend is sourcing an adapter. But from where, I really don't know. Maybe a search on Autometer gauges in the forums. or Sender Units. If I had the time right now I would do it and let you know my findings but I am leaving for a flight soon and don't have the time right now.

I would greatly appreciate it, and if he does have an autometer oil pressure gauge, then I would also like to speak with him if he would be able to spare sometime. Thanks so much for your help

no progress on the oil pressure gauge. I still need some way to connect it to the block. I called mcmaster.com, and told them what everyone on the website reccommended, which was a 10mm bspt to 1/4 npt adapter, and they said that doesnt exist. Im truly confused. many mx-3'ers have this mod, and i cant seem to understand how they have their oil pressure sender connected to the block. I already hooked up my other air/fuel gauge, and they look nice, but the oil pressure looks dumb not working. so everyone who has this mod hooked up, where did you get the adapter, or how did you do it? THanks

I know this is a stupid question, but have you contacted anyone at Autometer? They might have other adapters. I'll try my buddy again and see if he checked the link I sent him to this forum. He has Autometer mechanical gauges though. So he might not have had this type of problems when he was installing his, and he might not have an oil pressure unit either. I don't remember what he had last time I was in his car. It's been a long time. Have you posted a forum specifically stating Autometer Phantom Oil Pressure Gauge, HELP!!! That might get some people with that actual gauge looking. All else fails....... Duct Tape.. Sorry I had to say it, but it does fix everything. lol
