Post by wkdmx3gsr »

I'm putting in new forged pistions to lower my compression to 9:1 for a turbo. but i need a some info on finding a turbo setup that will fit my

Search for sean matthews site, or wait for jeff abrams to put his turbo setup on his site, you dont really need to get forged pistons kinda kills the point of a ze, just get better injectors/fuel management and you should be able to hold 10psi or so, be nice to your transmission too!!!!

Fuel is the biggest factor. If youre far enough to need forged pistons, youre looking at custom injectors, and a stand alone.

There is a guy on Probetalk.com that sells complete turbo exhaust manifolds for the probe Gt, which is far more easy to adapt than to build them from zero.

If you're doin a custom turbo setup on a V engine, do you really have to get new headers? I know eventually they will be a restriction, but I imagine that they'd be fine for 10PSI.
