So what is true "good" compression? Anyone find out? Do they have that compression tool at AutoZone also? I'll have to check.

Well you said you changed out the water pump, you had to have seen the timing belt when you did that. Was it loose or worn?

If you are going to change out the timing belt you may as well change the water pump while you are at it, as you must remove the timing belt to replace it anyway....save yourself some time in the future!

There are two fans on the 93 and 94 MX3 4 cylinders; the one on left only comes on when the A/C is turned on. The right is the cooling fan. Mine did the same thing I just bypassed it and put a switch inside, kinda assway around but now I KNOW when the fan is on cause I control it myself...LOL...your...

if you have a 94 MX3 1.6 then you do have a tensioner down front below the belt(s). You should have 2 belts down there on the left over the water pump and timing belt. The tensioner is located to the front and below, you will have to reach down there, it's very hard to see. You couldn't have put the...

Yeah I checked that too, thx! Also just an FYI I figured out the problem. The metal tube that comes out of the engine where the water goes back into the radiator (I believe it is the heater coil inlet), well it had a leak in it. It has a small rubber o-ring on it and that oring is shot. Water leakin...

it's a new waterpump....but I pulled a lot of sludge out of it (the radiator) after I put the water pump in and drove it for a couple weeks. After I posted the previous I thought about that and went out and started it, opened radiator top, tried to squeeze hoses to air out the system, and noticed ho...
