Re: FS: Koni Red adjustable strut inserts

These work very good with H&R springs and whiteline rear swaybar.

Re: Sold the Mx-3

11k is cheap for an mx3 in norway! how much did your miata run? Actually, I paid about $25.000 for it in July 2008. (Actually a decent price here...). Here is how it looks as of today :) http://nope-mx5.jalbum.net/Miata%20Tupperware/slides/P1010026.JPG http://nope-mx5.jalbum.net/Miata%20Tupperware/...

Boo when someone lets one go :(
I sold it in May 2008.

Got a new 2001 Mx-5 (Miata) Sport package instead :)
(had a 99 (Ford) Mercury Cougar from oct 07 to june 08 too, but luckily I got back to a decent car).

Re: Offical Spyder MX3 Halo Projector headlight (Black / Chrome)

If these had been available when I had my Mx-3, I`d get these for sure. about $250 for these are cheap... (I`ve also seen these, or a copy on ebay for around $175) It cost me alot more to get the Civic headlights modded and installed. But, I`m glad I`ve sold the mx-3, as everyone can get the project...

Sold the Mx-3

Been a long time since I`ve visited the forums. Usually it was several times a day, but after I changed jobs, and had no time to even drive it, I kinda stopped visiting. Had it parked for almost 1-1.5 years where I drove it maybe 20 times or so. So, in May 2008 it got sold ($11.000 USD, wich was pre...

In my opinion the H&R`s are a better choice, as they are a bit stiffer, and lowers a bit more than the eibach`s.

You dont weld the sleeve to anything.
You weld the metal rings you need to get machined, to the strut.

The pics show how it works.

I`ve done it this way myself, and dont regret it at all.
Looks more professional not having the spring perch for stock springs.

It works. Koni`s use stock strut housing, so no problems. You might want to do the install properly though. Luc St. Pierre had a page with how they _should_ be installed for the best performance/safety. But seems it`s not online anymore. Ah, found it :=) http://web.archive.org/web/20070207033546/caf...

You never measure the oil right after the car has been run. to get an accurate reading, it should be left for about 5 minutes, to let all the oil get into the oilpan (wich is where you measure the amount of oil). So, you really should check the levels with the engine cold, since you put more oil in ...
