Thanks for the replies! I took off the H&R springs and put the stock springs back in with the zx2 struts, and no more clunking. My alignment is off again even with just the shorter zx2 struts. I hate driving it like this now, there is no feedback from the road and the steering feels rubbery. I t...

getting rid of mx3 and had to show you it first

Well guys, I know I don't post much but I finally got some pics up on the net. Tell me what you think. Also if any one is wondering, those are h&r springs and zx2 struts. They are a horrible setup, I've had them for a year now, awful clunging noise and stiff as shiit. And those are 17x7 motegi m...

Re: turbo manifold $$$?

Very very close but not exactly the same. Nothing a little bit of porting wont fix. My plan was to find a log style 1.6L turbo manifold and drill new bolt holes or elongate them to fit my sohc. Test fit the turbo everything first for clearence issues first.

Re: turbo question ????

When you said "3z's" you meant 300zx right? If so then what I have told you is correct. 87-88 z's had the in line six with a single turbo. Water and oil cooled.

Re: turbo question ????

It's a Nissan T3. I got one off ebay but it didn't include the downpipe which is a b1tch to find since it's not a standared 5 bolt dp flange. It's pretty big with a hot side ar ratio of .63 and .62 cold side. Hope this helps.

Re: lower boost pressure ????????

I though a boost controler could only increase boost pressure from the stock setting. A controller is only a controlled leak to fool the turbo. If it isn't leaking then it's like not having a boost controller at all. Isn't it??????

Re: lower boost pressure ????????

Well, I figured I'd start off low so I wouldn't need to worry about an intercooler or that much piping or much fuel managment or too much stress on my sohc. At least not until I get my funds up again. So how do I go about this "ghetto-rigging"? Also how was racingmazda.com able to set it a...

lower boost pressure ????????

This might sound silly, but is there a way to lower the boost pressure on an internal wastegated turbo charger? Like from the stock boost level of 7-8 lbs to maybe 2 or 3 lbs? Thanks

H&R Springs with ZX2 Struts

Alright guys, I installed this combo today but for some reason the front pass. side sits about half an inch higher then the driver side. I enlarged the hole on the upper spring perch to fit the new thrust bearing so I thought I'd ask before go taking that shhit apart. Thanks

SOHC turbo manifold

Hey I wanna build my own manifold for my sohc with parts from this place, http://www.jgstools.com/turbo/ . The problem is that the flange they offer is for the B6 (Miata I'm guessing) and I know that it won't bolt up to my sohc. So I was wondering if the actual exhaust ports lined up or not. If so t...
