Anyone in Edmonton area w/engine knowledge willing to help?

I've got to replace the head gasket (external leak on the front driver's corner of bock) on a '94 B6-D and I would appreciate help from someone familiar with replacing the head gasket on this engine. I'm proficient with turning wrenches and have done engine and transmission pulls/swaps in the past, ...

Re: 94 MX-3 Circle Track Build

It's been forever since you updated this! Results!? Pics!? How did it fare against the Celica?

I'm assuming you built the new header for better flow as opposed to just weight reduction?

EDMONTON AREA - Want to make some $$ changing a head gasket?

I've got a 1994 MX-3 with the B6-D and there is an oil leak from the front of the block on the right corner as you are facing the front of the car. I've had the gasket set for months now and known about the leak since last fall, but I haven't had time to get at the job (too many toys!). I've got the...

Re: How Many Edmontonians are there?

Edmonton.

Purchased a '93 and a '94 RS at auction about 6 weeks ago to use for short track rally racing. Going to use the '93 now for a daily driver and get the '94 onto the circuit once I have done a few mods.

Re: [FS] 1992 mx3 gs. $500

Car looks good - very little rust. Car needs work - of the mechanical kind, as it will not start. It does start under optimal conditions, (ambient temperature is above 0 and it's dry) I need it gone, looking at it makes me angry- because I purchased it, less then two months ago for $1400 and spent ...

Re: dirt oval mx3

Just weld the dif. Can't parallel park anymore.. but its dirt. Rear GS and RS springs are exactly the same, I think. No reason why they wouldn't be. You're confused on the cam swap thing. Disty upside down is never a good idea. Weld the diff? I'm setting up a '94 MX-3 for short track (2nd gear at m...

Re: 94 MX-3 Circle Track Build

How much weight do you figure you have saved by stripping all of the interior?

I'm building a rally racer using a 1994 MX-3 with the 1.6L 4 cylinder. I'll be watching this thread, it looks interesting!
