Reinstalled crash bar, will use the factory crash bar to mount the new dash . Will spend some time with a wiring diaagram and strip out all the wiring that is not needed.

Dropped the Suspension about 2 1/2" yesterday and cut off the old steering wheel and installed a quick disconnect wheel. Will take some pics later.... Waiting for the machine shop to drop off the pipe for the roll cage. Then the car will be off to the paint shop.

How much weight do you figure you have saved by stripping all of the interior?

I'm building a rally racer using a 1994 MX-3 with the 1.6L 4 cylinder. I'll be watching this thread, it looks interesting!

I dunno if Aero matters much in that kind of racing, but your windshield on the Helica is deflecting like crazy, but looks like it was plenty powerful... :welder:
You guys are going to circle track that 55 Buick!111!!1!!??? lol ;)
Looks like some awesome fun, but I hate to say I bet your MX is slower than the Celica. I owned a stock 94 Celica GT and it was pretty quick and faster than my Mx-3 GS.
Thanks for sharing and good luck with the car and the season.

Celica is fast but you still have to get around the corners, on the straight the Celica leaves everyone behind.. But cornering sucks... Adjustable suspension is way more money for the Celica than for an MX-3 ... We will be racing both so it will fun to see which car will be faster.
