Rear Brembo Discs
Hi everyone, I recently bought a set of Brembos, but only needed the fronts (drums on the back, and i dont want to do a rear end swap), so I've got a pair of 4-hole discs for the rears. Anyone in BC or Alberta, $20 plus shipping (or just drive over and pick them up) and they're yours. *Mods, I wante...

Quick question
Hi everyone,
Just curious if there's any way to install a volume switch on the steering wheel instead of having to reach over and turn the volume knob on the stereo (so labor intensive

Re: Idle Drives me NUTS
I've had the same problem. It was reeeeeally bad until I took off the TB and cleaned it (using the method described by Tunes67 in the 4Cyl FAQ). Haven't had a problem with it since. However, it does still bounce, but only when the engine is hot, tranny in neutral, stereo cranked, sat radio on, light...

Re: gas mileage!
Depending on the heat of the fuel, 1 Gallon of fuel equals approximately 6 pounds. The tank is 11.3 gallons if i remember correctly, so you're looking at about 67 pounds from completely full to bone dry.

Or maybe the 9001TW goes to something else...Remember kids, black adds 10HP to the engine and 9001TW to the ion cannon's beam strength!

Re: gas mileage!
Yup, my shop manual and the online manuals both say 50L. My gauge lies regardless... if i turn to the right, it shows less gas. if i turn left, it shows more.

Re: gas mileage!
Its right under the quantity indication. There's no writing or pictures or anything, its just a single round orange light. And I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be 50L, but i'll go check...

Re: gas mileage!
I have a 92 4cyl, and usually get ~350 city, ~500 highway per tank, but im pretty sure my fuel gauge is lying to me cuz even when the fuel light comes on and i fill it to the rim, it only takes about 30 litres, and the tank is supposed to be 50 At any rate, i usually get between 30 and 40 MPG.

Re: MX3 gods, please help me...
So in a continuing fit of weirdness, on the drive to work, the idle was still 600.... 11 hours later on the drive home, the idle was 850, but dropped to 700 when i was in neutral with the clutch out

Re: Some insight please...
I agree - could be one of many, many things. I've noticed that extreme summers absolutely decimate distributors and spark plugs, may be a place to start. A friend of mine just spent $200 on a towtruck, and then $300 on a mechanic to determine that her MX3 died of sludged up spark plugs (that were re...
