Thats the hard part for me...Ive checked with all the local junk yards and if by chance they even have an mx3, its pretty well stripped out...linkeges and spedo stuff shouldnt be that bad im sure i can figure it out...

So your saying if i find a ford escort with a 4 cil engine, and 5 spd tranny...that it'll bolt up to my motor...and i wont have any HUGH things i have to change

Need information on interchangable trannies... I have a 93 mx3..1.6l 4 banger...auto trans...I need a tranny and am having trouble finding one that dos'nt cost 650 700 dollars wondering if say the probe or mx6 or 626 trannies will work with me engine...Auto or manual ill swap to manual if i need to....

yup took it to a dealer in butler and they fixed it and thy also did the front coil springs:)

Ive been having a simular problem with me 93...but its only when im at cruise speed ... like 65 70 mph...when the car downshifts the temp will slowly raise, only to drop back down as soon an the idle is back at a crusing level...It only does it on open highways...not in everyday stop and go traffic...
