yep will try that tomorrow, Termostat is in the right way i did it at the same time the water pump was done, So its been about 4-5 months since that was done and now just all of a sudden it has started doing it, I keep a check on the coolent level and have not had to put any in as the level has been...

Temp gauge is fine and is sitting where it normally sits. I think the thermostat is fine as i get hot air when the car starts (after warming up) then still get hot air for about 3/4 hr before it starts going cold again. I am wondering what actually controls the cold - hot air, Is there a solinoid so...

Weird heater problem.

I have this strange heater problem that has only just started happening, When starting the car and after it heats up heater produces nice hot air, after about 3/4hr driving though it goes back to being cold, Thermostat is fine as its new, water pump was only done about 4 months ago , coolant levels ...

if i did go ahead and just get the waterpump etc done and it does turn out this is not the problem but is a blown head gasket , how big of a job would it be for them to do the gaskets. ??

well this is what i cannot understand temp gauge just goes to where it normally sits and does not rise , fans come on when sitting at lights but go off again when driving , no white smoke and no milkyness in the oil so i guess that may mean the head is not cracked. I dunno the cost of where you guys...

Well i took the radiator out yesterday and sent it off where they have cleaned it out and flow tested and everything is ok , they have sent it back and i put it back in today and went for a drive , oh i reinstalled minus the thermostat , when i got back 30 minus later it was still over heating so wa...

its summer over here so i don't think that it could be that , looks like i might have to take the raidator out and give it a good flushing out. is there anyway to flush out the cooling ducts through the motor without having to take it to a garage to get it done ???.
