On the interior pics page on this site, it shows the 94-98 having a cup holder in the center part of the dash. Is this section of the late dash able to be put into an earlier car?

According to my Chilton manual, peak power is produced between 5500 and 6500 rpm (depending on whether it is a 4 or 6), so at 7000 you are actually below max HP. That could explain better pulling power when you shift at 5000. Even something as sleek as an mx-3 creates a lot of resistance cutting ...

The ones on the console are for heated seats, if equipped.

You can get it transferred to your name without the e-test or safety, they just put "unfit" on the ownership. You just can't plate it till you jump through all the hoops.

Just to add my 2 cents, I had codes from both of my o2 sensors.I suspected bad plugs and wires so I changed them, cleared the codes, and they never came back. Bad plugs were causing my o2 sensors to give an inversion error. I would suggest that before you spend a lot of bread on something you may ...

My 93 K8 5 spd is bone stock, except for a "universal" cat (does that count as a mod?). About all I plan to change is the factory radio, lookin at putting in a CD player.

Crank pulley failure

I've only had my 93 1.8 a couple weeks, and when I got it There was a bit of a rattley tinny sound coming from low in the engine bay. It almost sounded like a loose heat shield vibrating just off idle to about 1500 rpm. Then I was cruising along the other day when I heard a noise and the ALT light ...

Well, it's all over finally and I'm legally on the road. The people I got tires from did the safety, and all they could find was one bad (right) tierod end. Not too bad considering there's 400K km clocked on it. The e test wasn't as simple. I knew nothing about the history of the car, so I just took ...

The NO (whatever that is, I'm not sure) was still high on the road speed part of the test. Everything was passing at the idle test. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the tune-up has brought it in line. I'll know Tuesday, that'll be my first chace to get it back in there.
